Lee Wood Contracting, Inc. is a third-generation family owned company specializing in heavy/highway construction, and has been in business for over 50 years.
Lee Wood Contracting, Inc. is a growth oriented construction company built on the old-fashioned values of hard work and perseverance. We do, however, utilize the latest equipment and construction techniques.
We are a MDOT approved contractor; contractor number 326. We are approved to bond 18.5 million dollars with the MDOT. We have numerous years of experience with mass excavations and large site-work projects.
With the goal to further expand business opportunities and to better serve our existing clients, we offer a full GPS machine control system. We also have full surveying and 3D modeling capabilities with AutoCAD Civil 3D. This system enables us to provide our own construction stakeout and quality control. We maintain and operate aggregate mining facilities. This allows us to deliver all processed aggregates from source to site using our own fleet of modern equipment.
In our continuing efforts to provide a safe working environment, all employees are required to complete First Aid, CPR, Hazwoper, and Construction Safety certification classes.
